“ I haven’t been here since I was a child. It still has the same vibe it did back then. This place is adorable. It is so Arlington and I’m glad it’s still around. The server was a great guy. He added to the atmosphere by being respectful and friendly. The food is great. I can’t even remember the last time I had a steak that tender. My husband is picky about his burgers and all he could do was talk about how he wished we had burgers this good in Austin. ”
“ A great place to visit. A variety on the menu. Pizza, Mexican, Steaks and Italian to choose from. Great local place! Let's keep our money local, especially when they are as good or better than the chain places. I recommend Monday thru Saturday when the Cowboys are playing if you just want to eat...if you are going to game eat there and park there. Good food and easy to park. I am not associated with the restaurant in any way. Our best friends ate here when they were married in 1980. They showed us in 1986 when we moved here. Special in our hearts because of this. Visit and let it become something special to you. ”

“ A Hidden Gem with Great Vibes and Even Better Food! I visited for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! Each booth had its own cute little jukebox, which added a fun and nostalgic touch to the experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I even had the chance to meet the owner—such a cool and welcoming guy who clearly cares about creating a great environment for guests. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance: it’s open and lively, yet also has cozy, secluded spots that make it great for a quiet dinner. Whether you’re planning a family gathering or a romantic night out, this place is an excellent choice. I’ll definitely be coming back! P.S. I ordered the pork chop dinner. ”
“ Came here for salad, steak and baked potato. It was very very good. The sirloin steak was thick, cooked exactly as requested, smothered in onions, mushrooms and cheese. Baked potato loaded with all the good stuff. Half the price as a steak house. And the chips and salsa is as good as any Mexican restaurant! And I’m a chips and expert We’ve been coming here for years and eaten a variety of options and it’s always good. The service is always spot on. ”
“ This place customer service is exceptional. We went for a sister in laws bday, we supposedly had reservations. This particular day it was closed for a private party that had been scheduled for 6 months. They had no record of the reservations. They took us anyway and served us. They had great customer service, plus the food was good. Try the lemon drop, very good. ”
“ This place deserves 5 stars just based on ambiance alone. Candlelight Inn has been open since 1957 and they’ve obviously done something right to have been open for this amount of time. My favorite thing on the menu is the spaghetti with meat sauce. This is a great spot for a lunch or dinner with lots of familiar comfort foods on the menu. I work and live nearby and Candlelight Inn is one of my go-to restaurants when I want a good meal with great service in a fun, authentic atmosphere. Extra tip: The restaurant closes at 2pm and then reopens at 5pm. It doesn’t say this on the Google profile, but I found out from someone who works at Candlelight Inn. ”
“ I've been going to Candlelite for since I moved to Arlington 40 years ago. Service is always great, and where else can you get such a variety of cuisine all in one place?!? Some of my favorites are the pizza, burgers, chopped steak and enchiladas. If you stop by for lunch, they also now have lunch specials which are slightly downsized, but cheaper. But you can always still order from the full menu if you are really hungry! ”
